Social skills

The “road” of socialization of all people begins at birth and lasts throughout life. The most decisive role and basis of the sociability of individuals is played by parents, who shape and develop the elements of a child’s personality. As a child grows up, the role of the family remains important, but at the same time other socialisation factors, such as the school factor, are also involved. The child enters a new environment where he or she is confronted with new values and attitudes, new rules, new perceptions, new interpersonal relationships and experiences that will lead to the formation of his or her personality and social identity.

For the all-round development of children, the educational process emphasises the separation of developmental areas, because each child has a unique pace, abilities and level of development. Every kindergarten should pay special attention to and consider as its basic mission the socialization of children, as this is essentially the way to prepare them and give them the impetus to integrate smoothly into society!
